The Narragansett Technologies team is made up of internationally experienced software and business professionals. Here are brief profiles of our management team:

Chris Byrne, Chairman and CEO

Chris has more than 20 years experience working with software companies. His vision for Narragansett Technologies is to build Customer focused applications that enhance revenue based on customer relationships, loyalty and behaviour. The company has a singular focus on one development platform, Microsoft .NET, and a business model based on OEM sales. As a result, the company earned more than 50 customers across the US and Europe culminating in the TMC 2003 Customer Interactions Award. Prior to Narragansett Technologies, he co-founded SAI/Redeo in 1992 which pioneered payment settlement and reconciliation solutions on the IBM AS/400 and Microsoft platforms. The products were distributed worldwide by SSA. SAI/Redeo was acquired by Clarus Corp in May 2000 and featured in the book “Adventures in Code” by John Sterne. Prior to founding SAI/Redeo, Chris headed up the R&D operation for Software 2000/Infinium Software, now owned by SSA. Chris holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Limerick and has published several patents.

Jon is responsible for increasing market penetration in the US and will engage with strategic partnership opportunities for Narragansett Technologies. With more than 20 years of senior management experience in the Technology sector, Jon has served in a number of leadership roles including VP of Sales at Clarus Corporation and was President of SAI America, which was acquired by Clarus Corporation in 2000. He also held senior management positions with Arthur Andersen, System Software Associates and Platinum Software Corporation.

Prior to Narragansett Technologies Richard most recently worked with B2B software maker Clarus Corp. (NASDAQ:CLRS) where he was the technical architect of the payment settlement and reconciliation platforms. Prior to that, he held senior technical positions within SAI/Redeo and ERP vendor Infinium Software (NASDAQ: INFM). Richard has extensive Microsoft Technology and Enterprise application domain expertise and was one of the first to pioneer Web Services in conjunction with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). Every summer Richard worships at the altar of his beloved Tipperary Hurling team (it's a sport - honest) and has been known to cook an excellent Indian meal when the mood takes him. Richard holds a diploma in Software Engineering from Limerick Institute of Technology.
