SKY Credit card

I just received an email newsletter from Sky offering me their Sky credit card from Barclays. I am one of Sky’s 300,000 customers in Ireland. They know this because it says so on my online profile. When I click on the offer it states, very clearly, that to be eligible I must live in the UK. They have my demographics so why didn’t they bother to segment properly? The net effect is brand damage for Sky and Barclays. Getting your customer preferences and demographic is one thing but using them properly is another. See http://url.ie/2p5
